🍟 Solara 12L Digital Air Fryer Oven – Signature Combo (Model AF501)
The short answer: this is a 12-litre, 1800 W air fryer oven – not a basket air fryer – so it can air fry, bake, toast, grill, roast on a rotisserie and dehydrate in one box, across multiple trays at once. The Signature Combo adds the three things most owners end up buying later: a glass oil sprayer, a set of 6 reusable silicone liners and a fitted storage cover.
Best for families of 4–6, weekend bakers and anyone replacing a kadai of deep-fry oil with a light spray.

✨ Why this air fryer oven
🔄 360° hot-air circulation
A convection fan moves hot air around the food so it crisps on all sides with a light coat of oil instead of a deep fry.
👨👩👧👦 12 L, multi-level cooking
Room for snacks, mains and sides on separate racks in one go – no cooking samosas in three batches.
📲 12 one-touch presets
Includes air fry, bake, toast, pizza, rotisserie, dehydrate, reheat, slow cook and keep warm, with manual time and temperature control on the LED touch panel.
🍗 Built-in rotisserie
Whole chicken, tandoori-style tikka or paneer on a turning rod, or vegetables tumbling in the mesh basket – something a basket air fryer cannot do.
👀 Glass door, pause anytime
Watch the food through the window, or pause to check and resume with one tap.
🛡️ Overheat protection & auto shut-off
Solara builds in overheat protection and automatic shut-off.
🧪 No PTFE / Teflon in the chamber
Solara states the cooking chamber walls, floor and ceiling carry no PTFE, Teflon or ceramic coating. Chamber walls are aluminium-coated plate; the outer shell is SS 430 stainless steel. The drip tray is silicone-coated and the bake tray has Solara's SILQ release coating.

✅ Using the combo the right way
- Silicone liners go on a mesh rack or the bake tray – never directly on the heating element or the chamber floor. Use them for sticky, saucy or crumbly food (paneer tikka, cutlets, muffins, reheating). For maximum crunch on fries, cook directly on the mesh rack so air reaches every side.
- Oil sprayer – mist the food (or the rack) lightly before cooking. Spray outside the oven, not into a hot chamber.
- Rotisserie – secure food tightly with the forks so it turns freely without touching the heating element.
- Multiple trays – the top rack browns faster; swap tray positions halfway through for even results.
- Storage cover – fit it only after the oven has fully cooled and is unplugged.
⚖️ Air fryer oven vs basket air fryer vs OTG
| Air fryer oven (this) | Basket air fryer | OTG | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crisping | Very good | Best | Weak |
| Baking cakes / pizza | Good | Limited | Best |
| Family-size batch | Yes, multi-rack | 2–4 people | Yes |
| Rotisserie | Yes | No | Some models |
| Preheat | Short | Short | Long |
Pick this if you want one appliance to cover both everyday air frying and baking for a family. Pick a compact basket air fryer if you mostly cook small portions of snacks for 1–2 people.
