Put the dish that takes longest (chicken, corn on the cob, sweet potato) in the bottom tier, closest to the steam, and delicate things like greens or fish on top. Juices drip downward, so keep anything with a strong marinade at the bottom and plain vegetables above it.

Does the Glen food steamer switch off automatically?
